Coach Jimmy Thompson and Rollo May of T-Town MMA will be teaching (Gi) at Quincy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu on Sunday, 09/02 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. An open mat session will immediately follow from 3:30-4:00 p.m.

Coach Jimmy Thompson and Rollo May of T-Town MMA will be visiting Quincy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu on Saturday, 09/01 from 3-5 p.m. for a No-Gi session focusing on using BJJ for Wrestling.  An open mat session will immediately follow from 5-6 p.m.

Women’s Self-Defense Class

WOMENSSelf-defense class scheduled for  Thursday, September 13th from 6:308:30 p.m.

Optional Q&A and Open Matsessions from 8:309:00 p.m.

Quincy Recreation Department and Quincy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu are offering a two-hour informational and hands-on self-defense seminar.  By teaching confidence and vigilance, we will give you the knowledge to keep you and your loved ones safe.  Techniques to fend of an assailant and escape dangerous situations will be demonstrated
and practiced.

Quincy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Represents at National Night Out

Monday, August 6th is Quincy-wide National Night Out against Crime Gathering. It will be held at the High School Field behind the Baseball fence. Quincy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu will be at one of the booths, rolling out some mats to talk to the community about BJJ and how it can empower positive changes within lives of young and old(er) alike.

L-Bow the clown will be there for some performances from 6:30 to 8:00, so we will not follow our normal class schedule, but just have an “Open Mat” session from 4-8:00 p.m.
